Two kinds of bidet — one needs an outlet, one does not
A non-electric attachment fits under your existing seat, runs on water pressure alone and needs no power. If your bathroom has no outlet, this is the one — we can fit it today.
An electric seat — heated, warm water, dryer — needs a grounded outlet within reach of the toilet. TOTO and the rest do not permit extension cords, and older New York bathrooms often have none. Adding one is an electrician's job, roughly $120–200, and not work we do. Worth checking before you book.
Either way we work off the water line you already have. We do not replace shut-off valves or supply lines — if yours is seized or weeping, that is a plumber's call, not ours.

Water off, old seat and mounting hardware out, everything wiped down before the new unit goes on.

Mounting plate aligned to your bowl, the kit's T-adapter onto your existing supply line, connections checked.

We run it, watch every joint for weeping, and show you the remote, the presets and the filter.

Before you call
- How much does bidet installation cost?
- $150 flat, whether it is an electric washlet or a simple non-electric attachment. The bidet itself you buy — we install whatever you've got. We work off your existing water line; we do not replace shut-off valves or supply lines, that is a plumber's job.
- Do I need an electrical outlet?
- Only for electric models — heated seat, warm water, dryer. Those need a grounded outlet within reach of the toilet, and manufacturers including TOTO do not allow extension cords. No outlet? Two options: a non-electric bidet, which we can fit today and which needs no power at all, or have an electrician add an outlet first ($120–200 in NYC — we do not do electrical work).
- How long does it take?
- Under an hour for a seat on an existing toilet. A non-electric attachment is usually quicker than that.
- Which brands do you install?
- TOTO Washlet, Bio Bidet, Brondell, Kohler, American Standard, Woodbridge, TUSHY — and anything else with a standard mount. Bring us the box.
- Will it fit my toilet?
- Most seats come in round and elongated. Measure bowl length from the seat bolts to the front rim: about 16.5 inches is round, about 18.5 is elongated. Buy to match and it fits.
