Questions
Dishwasher FAQ
How much does dishwasher repair cost?
Typical dishwasher repair is $210–$280 plus a $100 diagnostic credited to the repair.
Do you service built-in dishwashers?
Yes. Most NYC kitchens have built-ins — we know how to remove and reinstall without damaging cabinets.
Why are my dishes still dirty after a full cycle?
Most often it's a clogged filter or blocked spray arms — worth checking yourself first. If those are clean, the usual suspects are the circulation pump or water inlet valve, both diagnosable on the first visit.
My dishwasher won't drain — should I bail the water out?
Leave a little water in the sump (it keeps seals from drying out) but scoop out the rest so it doesn't spill when the door opens. Then check the filter for debris. If it still won't drain, it's usually the drain pump or a clogged hose.
