If your unit is still under Sub-Zero's factory warranty, use an authorized provider to keep that warranty intact; for out-of-warranty repairs, an experienced independent like us is usually faster and more affordable.
How much does Sub-Zero refrigerator repair cost in NYC?
Most out-of-warranty Sub-Zero repairs run $260-520 for parts and labor, plus a $150 diagnostic credited in full. Premium sealed units and dual-compressor models sit at the higher end. You get the number before we start — no surprises.
Why is the diagnostic $150 and not $100?
Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Gaggenau and Miele are our premium bracket. These units are built into cabinetry, take longer to reach and need brand-specific parts, so the service call is $150 instead of the $100 we charge on mass-market brands. It is credited in full — go ahead with the work and the visit costs nothing extra. Jura coffee machines carry the same premium service call.
Do you fix Sub-Zero sealed-system (Freon) problems?
Sealed-system refrigerant work legally requires EPA-608 certification. We diagnose it, and if it's a true sealed-system fault we hand off to our EPA-608-certified partner the same day — so you still get a fast answer.
