Straight talk
We’re independent, not Miele-authorized
If your appliance is still under Miele’s factory warranty, use their authorized service — going elsewhere can cost you that warranty, and no repair is worth it. Once you’re out of warranty, an independent visit is usually faster and cheaper, and you talk to the technician instead of a call center. That’s the whole difference, and you should hear it from us rather than find out later.

Questions
Miele repair FAQ
Do you repair Miele dishwashers in NYC?
Yes — Miele dishwashers are among the machines we service most, both integrated and freestanding G-series. Typical repair runs $220–$340 with parts and labor, and the $100 diagnostic comes off the repair. We cover Brooklyn, Queens (Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside) and Manhattan below 110th.
Are you a Miele authorized service center?
No — we're an independent NYC repair service. That matters in one case: if your appliance is still inside Miele's factory warranty, use their authorized route so you don't lose it. Out of warranty, an independent is normally faster and considerably cheaper, and the technician who diagnoses your machine is the one who repairs it.
My Miele dishwasher won't drain and shows a fault code. Is that expensive?
Usually not. Drain faults are most often the pump, the non-return valve or a blocked filter housing — all standard parts. The fault code narrows it down before the visit, so give us the exact code and model when you call and the technician arrives with the part.
The T1 dryer takes two cycles to dry. What's wrong?
On heat-pump dryers that's almost always the condenser unit clogged with fine lint — the filters catch the obvious stuff, the heat exchanger collects the rest. It's a service job rather than a part replacement, and the machine goes back to a single cycle afterwards.
Is it worth repairing an old Miele?
More often than with any other brand. Miele builds washers and dishwashers for a 20-year life, so a machine at year 12 with one failed part is worth fixing — the replacement costs several times the repair. We'll say plainly when a unit has genuinely reached the end instead of selling you a repair that won't hold.
Do you fix Miele vacuum cleaners?
No. Vacuums aren't our line — we service the built-in and large appliances: dishwashers, washers, dryers, coffee machines, ovens and cooktops.
Miele showing a fault code?
Give us the code and the model — half the diagnosis happens on the phone. $100 diagnostic, credited to the repair.
