About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your interactions with Sprocket Appliance Repair, operated by TANNU LLC, a New York limited liability company. By using our website (sprocketrepair.com), submitting a booking form, or receiving SMS/calls from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. SMS Messaging Program

- Message frequency:Typically 1–3 messages per service request (booking confirmation, technician ETA, post-service follow-up). Message frequency may vary.
- Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for text messages apply based on your mobile plan.
Sample message
“Hi [Name], this is Sprocket Appliance Repair. Your repair request for [appliance] has been received. A technician will contact you shortly. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Opt-in
You are enrolled in our SMS program only when you both:
- Submit our booking form at sprocketrepair.com/book, AND
- Actively check the SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default) before submitting.
There is no other opt-in path. We do not accept verbal SMS enrollment on incoming calls, and there is no text-to-subscribe keyword. Inbound calls to our phone number are for repair inquiries only, not SMS enrollment.
The consent checkbox text reads: “I agree to receive automated calls and texts from Sprocket Appliance Repair — including from AI voice systems — at the number provided, for booking confirmation and follow-up. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to purchase services.”
Opt-out
Reply STOP to any SMS from us at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to request repair services or reach us by phone or email.

No mobile data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are used solely to fulfill your service request and coordinate the repair.
2. AI Voice Calls
Outbound calls you receive after submitting our booking form are made by an automated AI voice agent operated by Vapi AI on our behalf, not a live human representative. The AI agent identifies itself at the start of every call. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance. If you prefer not to speak with an AI, you may hang up and reach us by calling (347) 572-7158 directly during business hours; your service request will still be processed.

3. Service Terms
Diagnostic fee
- $100 flat diagnostic fee per visit
- Fully credited toward the repair if you approve the recommended repair
- Non-refundable if you decline the repair after diagnostic is complete
Warranty
- 90-day warranty on both parts and labor
- Excludes damage from misuse, subsequent unrelated failures, or third-party interference after our service

Service area
Brooklyn, Queens (Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside), and Manhattan below 110th Street. Bookings from outside this area are subject to acceptance and may be referred to a partner.
Sealed-system / EPA 608 work
We do not perform sealed-system refrigerant work (freon leak repairs, compressor replacements, evaporator work). Federal law requires EPA 608 certification for these services. When you report a sealed-system issue, we refer you to an EPA 608 certified partner who handles those specific repairs.
Payment
Payment is collected on-site after work is completed. We accept cash, credit card, and digital payments. No pre-payment or deposit is required.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific repair service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages (including but not limited to food spoilage, laundromat costs while an appliance is out of service, lost wages, or alternative accommodation).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence.
5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York.

6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by a notice on our home page for at least 30 days before taking effect, or by direct notification to affected users where required by law. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
