Questions
Dryer FAQ
How much does dryer repair cost?
Typical dryer repair runs $210–$310 plus a $100 diagnostic credited to the repair.
Do you service gas and electric dryers?
Both. For gas connections we follow NYC code and pull the proper inspections when required.
Why is my dryer running but not heating?
On electric dryers it's usually the heating element or thermal fuse; on gas dryers, the igniter or gas valve coils. All are same-day fixes once diagnosed — and we check your vent line too, since a blocked vent causes half of these failures.
Is a squeaking dryer safe to keep using?
Short term, usually yes — it's typically worn drum rollers or the idler pulley. But don't ignore it: a seized roller can burn out the motor. And if you smell anything burning, stop the dryer and book a visit right away.
